Land-use conflicts, biodiversity collapse, risk-blind urban expansion, and the erosion of traditional ecological knowledge amplify vulnerability. Meanwhile, human-made hazards\u2014disinformation campaigns, supply-chain sabotage, and AI-induced decision failures\u2014compound the challenge.<\/p>\n<p>The imperative for\u00a0<strong>anticipatory, adaptive, and inclusive disaster risk governance<\/strong>\u00a0has never been greater. Information Technology (IT) now sits at the heart of this transformation, enabling\u00a0<strong>real-time foresight<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>decentralised resilience<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>equitable risk communication<\/strong>.
